Cannot make Canon LPB7010C work in Ubuntu 13.04
So, I've installed Ubuntu 13.04 to my computer, and I've been desperately
trying to make Canon i-Sensys LPB7010C work. But it just seems impossible,
no matter what I try. I've tried the solutions provided here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2135549 Still, nothing.
I've downloaded the latest CAPT drivers (2.60) and installed them. I've
also tried installing it manually and well, most likely everything. Now,
if I try to use the ubuntu's own guided installation, it doesn't even
detect anything in the usb port. However,
lsusb
Gives this:

I would assume that the best way of trying to install the printer is to do
a complete reinstallation, since everything seems to be all messed up. The
question is, what must I remove and uninstall in order to make a "fresh
start?"
Thanks in advance.
